How to do a
search:
You can conduct
2 types of
vendor searches:
1) Simple
single-variable
search: search by any
one of many
variables on the search engine page,
including, company name or vendor contact
person (first or last) name, language, etc.
2) More complex
multivariable search:
enter two or more search criteria per
search. Here’s an example: You need to find
vendors that have experience in
manufacturing,
and also offer Spanish as a
language of instruction. Type “manufacturing”
in the “Industrial Sector” box. Next, click
on “Languages”, and select,“Spanish”.
To run this search, click on the button “All
Words” and then “Search”.
In both types of searches, if your search
criteria matches the information provided by
vendors that are registered in the
LearnShare Vendor Directory, you will be
provided with a list of vendors. Click
on the vendor’s name to access each vendor’s
detailed profile containing their in-depth
information.
How to get interactive and share:
Once you’ve used the services of a vendor
from the LearnShare vendor directory, you
can now be “interactive” by going to the
Notes tab in the menu (left
side of the screen). Click “Add Note”, and
share your story about,
or experience
with, the vendor. The content you enter will
be viewable by other LearnShare Members like
you.
Want to rate the vendor? You can share
your
vendor rating (1 to 5 scale)
by going to the “Relationship” page. (Click
“Submit”, to save your rating.).
Go ahead. Give it a try.
