What are the key dates for speakers?

June 13, 2005: Presentation Proposals should be received by barb.arth@learnshare.com

June 15, 2005: Presentation slots will be formally published on www.learnshare.com (please make sure we have your abstracts)

June 15, 2005: Early Bird Registration Ends, member’s conference fee increases from $89 to $195 ($100 discount) per person

August 12, 2005: Member's conference fee early registration discount ends

August 23, 2005: Copies of Powerpoint slides and any handouts should be received by barb.arth@learnshare.com

September 2, 2005: Wyndham’s discounted $54/night rate ends (call Wyndham at 419-241-1411 & ask for the LearnShare group rate or register directly online)

September 8, 2005: Conference Event (please join us for a speaker’s dinner after the conference - LearnShare Member Companies Only)


When is my final presentation due and to whom do I submit it?

All final PowerPoint .ppt presentations are due on or before August 23, 2005 and should be submitted to Barb Arth at barb.arth@learnshare.com.


In what format should my presentation be?

All final presentations should be in Microsoft PowerPoint .ppt format and use template format of your choice.


What equipment will be set up in the rooms for speakers to use?

Each room will be equipped with a PC with Microsoft PowerPoint and an LCD Projector. Most rooms will also have flip charts and an overhead projector.


Can I bring my own laptop from which to present?

Yes. If you prefer to present from you own laptop, please bring it! Otherwise, LearnShare will have a laptop in each presentation room with an accompanying LCD projector from which you can display your presentation.


How many hard copies of my presentation should I bring?

We will let you know by August 19, 2005, the exact number of participants that have signed up for your session. Please bring a hard copy of your presentation for each participant. It would be helpful to have a few extras on hand in the event that we have late registrants for your session. If you’d like to make the hard copies of your presentations in Toledo after you arrive, there is a local Kinkos available at this address:

Do I need to register for the conference?

No, once you are selected as a speaker and assigned a specific presentation time slot you will receive a complementary registration which waives the $295 (normal registration fee) will be processed by our conference coordinator and you will receive a confirmation email. If you plan to stay over night, we have secured deep discounts for hotels and you should contact the hotel directly to make your reservations (see details below).


How do my colleagues register for this conference?

They need to register by following the online directions at Participant Registration. Pre-registration is required for all attendees and Early bird Registration continues through June 15th.
