Stephen Krempl is the Former VP of YUM University and Global Training for YUM! Brands Inc. YUM Brands is the franchisor for KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Long John Silver and A & W restaurants. YUM is the largest quick services restaurant company with 34,000 restaurants operating in over a 100 countries. The focus of YUM University is to build a curriculum that supports and grows of their leaders on all aspects of the “YUM Dynasty†model. His Global training team also focuses on designing “one system†team member and restaurant management programs. He started his YUM career in the Asia Regional office, moved to the International offices in Dallas and then to corporate headquarters in Louisville, KY. He formerly served in training positions in PepsiCo, Motorola, Singapore Institute of Management and Outrigger Hotels.
Stephen is also an author. He has currently three books Training Across Multiple Locations, (2001, Barrett-Koehler Publishers, Inc.) and Business ER (2003, Xulon Press) Leadership ER ( 2004, CornerStone) and has presented/trained audiences in 25 countries in Europe, Asia, Middle East, and Australia.
Stephen is a member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and the National Speakers Association (NSA). He has previously held positions in several organizations including President - Association for Physiological Type (Singapore), committee member - Singapore Training and Development Association and board member - Asian Regional Training and Development Organizations (ARTDO). |

Frank Persico Director, Learning Partnerships IBM Learning |

Frank Persico is IBM’s Director of Learning Partnerships where he is responsible for the Learning Leadership, Upskilling, and Expertise Management functions. Prior to assuming this role, Frank was Director of Employee Development and Resources where he led IBM’s development and employee resources management programs for the worldwide HR community. Frank joined IBM as a Sr. Organization Leadership Consultant where he consulted with IBM executives on personal and organizational leadership, strategy execution, and organization design issues. He also led the team of Organization Leadership Consultants who consulted with IBM senior managers across all lines of business.
Frank has over 25 years of diverse international and domestic experience as both consultant and line executive in a variety of industries. Prior to joining IBM Frank was the Director of Management Consulting Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Human Resource Management Practice. Prior to joining PricewaterhouseCoopers he was Vice President of Organizational Effectiveness at Pfizer Inc. where he led a variety of performance enhancement initiatives.
Frank received his Bachelors of Arts degree with honors from Hunter College and a Master of Science Degree in Chemistry from Rutgers University. He holds an MBA from the Stern School at New York University. |

Rick McAnally is Director Global Diversity and Talent Management, Corporate Human Resources, Deere & Company. He has held the position since May 2004. In his position, Rick oversees enterprise HR processes including: Performance Management, Succession Planning and Leadership Development, Global Diversity, Recruiting and Staffing, Global Learning and Development, and the Strategic Management Program.
Rick joined the company in 1972. He has held management positions in the areas of Manufacturing, Industrial Relations and Human Resources in the Agriculture Division as well as Corporate.
A native of Iowa, McAnally is a 1974 graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial administration and psychology.
