Keynote Presentations by:
Bill Wiggenhorn -- Chief learning Officer of Cigna & Founder of Motorola University – Since founding Motorola University in 1981and under his direction, it has evolved into the premiere and most often benchmarked corporate training organization in the world. Bill’s illustrious career in global training and education has made him a much-sought participant in governmental conferences, including The White House Conference on Productivity; The White House Conference on Aging; The Head-Start Program of Advisors of Earlham College, Richmond, Indiana, and the University of Dayton, Dayton, Ohio. He has testified before the Senate Subcommittee on Employment and Productivity on "America's Training Needs" and at a hearing before the United States Congress, Joint Economic Committee's Subcommittee on Education and Health on "Retraining the Work Force." He was also Co-Chair of the Global Forum on Management Education in June of 1998. Bill has served or is serving as: Board of Governors of the American Society for Training and Development, Member of the Management Development Board of United Technologies, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Society of Actuaries Foundation, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Educational Testing Service and presently Chairman of the Board (1996-2003), and Member of the National Nuclear Accrediting Board to name just a few. Bill is currently the Chief Learning Officer of Cigna Corporation in Pennsylvania.

Matt Barney, PHD – Director of Six Sigma, Motorola University – Matt has experience in strategic HR roles at companies including Intel, AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Motorola. His current work involves using interdisciplinary ideas from Finance, Engineering, Strategy Information Technology and Psychology to improve organizational effectiveness. Matt has published and presented papers on a variety of topics ranging from Human Capital Asset management, HR Technology, Personnel Selection and Training. Matt authored three US Patents, and has others pending.

John Palmer – Manager of Evaluations & Portfolio, General Motors University -- John has had extensive experience with measurement and evaluation prior to assuming his current position with GMU. As Manager of Evaluations for GMU he has been part of a team to set up a comprehensive measurement process. Since joining GM, John has managed the vehicle tracking studies for GM for both purchases and satisfaction with GM products.

Kent Barnett – Founder, Chairman & CEO of KnowledgeAdvisors* -- Co-founder and former president of Productivity Point International (PPI). Kent helped grow PPI to over $100 million before its acquisition by Knowledge Universe. Kent also founded the company KnowledgeAdvisors, which provides consulting services to help corporations identify what they need to measure, create the required surveys and tools and provide the analytical resources to identify improvement opportunities within the learning efforts. KnowledgeAdvisors has developed a performance-based measurement system known as Metrics That MatterTM (MTM). MTM provides companies the ability to gather training assessment data in an organized fashion. Kent brings over 14 years of industry experience.
