Purpose

The purpose of this FAQ is to provide a summary of the processes that have been established for the vendor sponsors participating in the Sharing@LearnShare Conference, being held on September 8-9, 2005.

If you need clarification for or have questions about information not covered below, please contact us via email at Conferences@LearnShare.com. We’ll do our best to reply within two business days.


Benefits for 2005 Vendor Sponsors

Benefits for 2005 Vendor Sponsors for the Sharing@LearnShare Conference include:

  • Networking opportunity to meet local executives responsible for the learning development programs in their organizations;
  • Demonstrating your product and services in a more intimate setting;
  • Creating your own opportunities for building relations by inviting your strategic clients and prospects;
  • Learning and exchanging your expertise with senior executives and directors willing to share their success stories with you.

Pre-Event Logistics

Logistics for Participating 2005 Vendor Sponsors:

  • To receive the published discounts, the sponsor payment is due by June 15, 2005; the sponsor fee will increase to the full rate for payments made after the due date.
     
    • Premiere Discounted to $12,000 (standard fee $15,000)
    • Platinum Discounted to $11,000 (standard fee $12,000)
    • Gold (3) Discounted to $7,500 (standard fee $10,000)
    • Silver Discounted to $5,000 (standard fee $7,500)
    • Std Exhibit Discounted to $2,750 (standard fee $3,900)

  • After payment is received, a welcome letter will be sent to you explaining the processes established for the 2005 conference; additional conference FAQs can be viewed at the TOLEDO CONFERENCE WEBSITE.
     
  • Please submit your website and small logo if you want them to be included on the marketing initiatives for attracting attendees.
     
  • New logos will be posted once a week with placement dictated by level of sponsor. Please check the conference webpage to make sure your logo and website address are correct.
     
  • We will be targeting learning decision makers from our current members and new companies interested in joining LearnShare. All of these companies have learning champions on their management teams. We encourage these champions to extend invitations to their entire management team of learning personnel in their community. We would like to include: Chief Learning Officers, Directors of Learning, Managers and Project Managers. We have enough space at Owens-Illinois Building to accommodate over 300 attendees. We believe this is a great opportunity to learn, network and share among a broad base of decision makers in today’s highly-distributed corporate buying environment.
     
  • Electronic marketing brochures are available online at the TOLEDO CONFERENCE WEBSITE. A final version will be posted on June 30th. We will do our best to include your company logo and website address on our website to provide you additional promotion; also included on our website is the conference schedule and a list of frequently asked questions for attendees. Please refer to the conference website for this information if you have colleagues or you are inviting guests to the conference.
     
  • Promotion of this event with existing clients and prospective leads is encouraged. You can co-brand any of our marketing material as you see fit. We will try to review communications sent us (but our approval is not required).
     
  • Please be aware that contact information for individuals attending will be made available to all of the sponsors. Contact Information made available will include the following; Name, Company, Title, Phone, Email. **Please use discretion when following up with attendees to ensure professional standards are used. Sponsors who do not exercise professional standards in follow-up communications will not be invited to participate in the conference next year.

The goal is to distribute this list to the sponsors two times: 2 weeks before the event, and 1 week after the event. This way each sponsor can adjust their business development initiatives.


Lodging

  • We have reserved rooms at the Wyndham Hotel at a rate of $54 a night. The block of rooms will be held until September 2nd in order to get the group discount rate. You will need to make your own reservations with the hotel directly online or by calling 419-241-1411 and asking for the LearnShare group rate.
     
    Reservations can be guaranteed by a major credit card or check – Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to arrival in order to avoid charges for the first night’s room and tax.)
     
  • The Premiere, Platinum, & Gold Sponsors may invite up to four people to attend as part of the fee. Exhibit only sponsors may have two people attend as part of the fee. Additional individuals must sign-up for the conference and pay the early bird discounted rate (as long as space is available). Sponsors must provide a list of all employees attending the conference. This is mandatory for the building’s security policies since 9/11.
